ABOUT

We all struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. At times, these forces can be overwhelming: if you find yourself alone, unmoored, and in need of a guide, I am here for you.

As your therapist, I draw on my own path of growth and healing as well as my professional clinical training and extensive counselling experience. I believe in the transformative power of sharing our stories.

My journey has been shaped by experiences of pain, attachment wounds, and struggles with anxiety and self-esteem. Along the way, I've navigated through these challenges by drawing on
cognitive behavioural therapies, somatic practices and mind-body integration.

When you are facing difficulties that seem insurmountable, or unable to connect, it is tremendously helpful to have a well resourced and experienced counselor who can help you overcome the barriers and recognize the opportunities that can lead you to wholeness.

Drawing from evidence-based practices while also being intuitively informed, I integrate evidence-based and empowering therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioral techniques, Somatic therapy,  and Attachment-based approaches to support you to discover and develop your purpose and potency.

It is humbling and breathtaking to witness this process of unfolding.  I'm honored to walk  alongside you as you discover, reclaim, and learn to wholeheartedly embrace the fullness of who you truly are.

Wherever you are on your journey, I will support you to build a foundation of well-being  that allows for greater resilience, self-awareness, and flourishing.

Experience

I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, which has provided me with a strong foundation in therapeutic approaches and techniques. With this expertise, I have worked with clients one-on-one in the public healthcare system, at a community non-profit, and in private practice. I am most effective when working with people one-on-one, in online sessions.

In my private practice, I am committed to providing transformative and empowering therapeutic experiences. I have witnessed firsthand the profound benefits of virtual therapy. Working one-on-one in an online environment allows clients more flexible access, so I can meet you where you are in the flow of your life.

In my practice, I prioritize creating a strong therapeutic connection, ensuring that our sessions remain deeply personal and impactful. Embracing the convenience of virtual therapy, I aim to make it easier for you to integrate our work into your daily routine, fostering growth and healing in a way that fits into the rhythms of your life.

My Story

From a young age, I was captivated by people’s stories and felt a deep curiosity about their experiences. This intrinsic interest in understanding others, combined with my non-judgemental nature, naturally led me to the path of therapy.

Several catalyst moments in my life, including my own struggles with pain, attachment wounds, and challenges in childhood, have shaped my approach to therapy. Personal experiences with anxiety, self-esteem, codependency, and overcoming shame have given me profound insights and empathy towards my clients.

I have returned again and again to the powerful tools I have been taught to break through learned helplessness and empower my own growth and flourishing. With deep empathy, I can recognize where you are and help identify and remove barriers that are preventing you from becoming who you truly are, so you can live a meaningful and fulfilled life.

Through my ongoing exploration, I've come to understand the importance of fostering self-compassion, and finding validation and love from within. I've learned to be in touch with my emotions, allowing myself to feel deeply and authentically. This beautiful, challenging process has been the transformative power of self-acceptance.

It is my honor to walk alongside you on your journey towards healing and wholeness.

I honor you in your commitment to delve into the root causes of your challenges. I will be a champion for you as you move forward, providing you tools and practices to build insight, connect to your intuition and strengthen your self-trust and compassion. If you are ready to embark on a path of healing, I would love to hear from you.
