I specialize in helping people struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, growth, and relationship issues. In my clinical experience working in private and public healthcare, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals facing substantial challenges to develop coping mechanisms to bring about more ease, deeper self reliance and openness to the present moment.
Attachment-Based Therapy: Rooted in developmental psychology, attachment theory explores how early relationships shape emotional bonds and influence adult behaviors. Attachment-based therapy helps individuals heal relational wounds, foster secure connections, and improve emotional regulation in current relationships.
Somatic Therapy: This approach focuses on the connection between physical sensations and emotional experiences, aiding in greater self-awareness and healing through embodied exploration and regulation.
Collaborative Strength-Based Approach: Here, the therapist and client work together as partners, emphasizing the exploration and utilization of individual strengths to facilitate positive change.
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Grounded in empirical evidence, CBT helps individuals understand and modify negative thought patterns and behaviors to promote resilience, well-being, and emotional change.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): EFT emphasizes the importance of emotional connection in relationships, guiding couples and individuals towards deeper understanding and secure attachment bonds.
Polyvagal Theory and Nervous System Regulation: Drawing on the understanding of the autonomic nervous system, this approach aims to regulate emotional responses and restore balance by addressing physiological states of safety and threat.
Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP): AEDP utilizes attachment theory and neuroscience to create a safe space for profound emotional exploration and transformation.

My approach
I take a problem-solving, solution-focused approach, where we work collaboratively to set meaningful goals and develop practical strategies for achieving them. Together, we'll bring the unconscious into conscious awareness, tapping into somatic experiences and emotions to foster insight, healthy practices, and lasting change.
At the core of my approach is a recognition of the profound impact of our early upbringing on our present-day lives. I incorporate attachment-based principles into my practice, prioritizing the cultivation of secure relationships and exploring how early relational experiences shape our current relationships.
Sharing and talking about trauma in a safe and supportive environment can be a crucial step towards healing and recovery. By verbalizing our experiences, emotions, and memories, we begin to make sense of them, integrate them into our narrative, and ultimately, reclaim a sense of agency and resilience.
